Sutton Coldfield Neighbourhood Network Scheme (NNS).

The NNS is a city-wide community initiative by the council aimed at supporting:

• adults aged 50 years and over
• adults aged from 18 to 49 years with long-term disabilities or additional needs

The scheme is designed to develop the support people need to lead happy, healthy, independent lives in their own homes and communities.

Each of Birmingham's 10 constituencies has its own NNS, most are run by voluntary and community sector organisations.

• Develop and strengthen community-based support
• Map and promote local services and activities
• Improve independence, wellbeing and carer support
• Reduce isolation and loneliness before problems escalate
• Build strong local partnerships
• Award grants to local assets to meet identified community need

• Access online GP, banking, shopping and council services
• Use email, video calling and social media to stay connected
• Identify online scams and stay safe online
• One-to-one or small group support, paced to suit you
